My style consists of soft creamy tones & bold dramatic skies! As a storytelling photographer there will be very minimal posing during your session. Instead I will use gentle prompts that allow your connections & personalities to shine.

 

Arguably the MOST important (& often times stressful) decision when booking a session is figuring out what to wear! Thankfully I've got you covered and try my best to make the process as stress free & enjoyable as possible! After booking a session you will receive my style guide that covers colors that work best with my editing style, sample color palettes,  styling tips, & so much more. In addition to my style guide, I am also in constant communication with my clients to help them piece together outfits for each family member so your photos will have a cohesive and beautiful look. Finally, my clients will have access to my client closet where they can save money and borrow designer pieces from my collection.

A client closet is a collection of designer pieces for my clients to borrow & wear during their session. It is a free service that I offer all my clients after booking a session with me.  These high end pieces come in various sizes, colors & styles. Not only does this service save my clients money, but also gives them an opportunity to wear gorgeous pieces without having to feel guilty about never wearing them again! (It is also more eco-friendly)

I am always adding to my client closet & at the moment I have women's dresses (XS-XL), girls dresses (3-14), and infant/toddler pieces as well.

To get that dreamy golden lighting my sessions will take place 1 hour before sunset. I know during those late summer sunsets it can be tricky with littles who have early bedtimes. (My kids were in bed by 7pm when they were little so I can appreciate a good schedule!) ...... but I promise it is 100 percent worth it! Snacks, music, playing games, & a fun water-based location like the beach can be great distractions for overly-tired littles during your session too! If you absolutely don't think your child can hang that late then maybe schedule an early fall session when the weather is still nice but the sunset is a bit earlier!

I keep a constant watch on the weather before all of my sessions. (Anyone from Maryland knows that the forecast is constantly changing!) I try to wait until the day of to make the call because I've had several occasions where they were calling for a summer storm and it just ended up being cloudy and those sessions always end up with the most gorgeous skies! However; if we definitely need to cancel due to rain/act of God we can absolutely reschedule. I always try to keep flexibility in my schedule so we can still get you rescheduled as close as possible to your original session date.

My typical turnaround time is 2-4 weeks depending on the season. You will select your proofs and then be sent a link to your online gallery where you can download your images. You can purchase prints directly through your online gallery. (These prints are printed by a high quality lab and will print true to color)

The only thing due at booking is the retainer of $200. The remainder of your balance can be broken down in a custom payment plan leading up to your session, or you can pay the remaining balance in one lump sum on the day of your session!
